Active sustrongstances:
ß Toxoid ofClostridium perfringens
(Types B and C) ≥ 10 UI*
e Toxoid of Clostridium perfringens
(Types B and D) ≥ 5 UI*
Toxoid of Clostridium septicum ≥ 2,5 UI*
α Toxoid of Clostridium novyi ≥ 3,5 UI*
Inactivated Clostridium chauvoei
(anaculture) 100% protection**

*IU: International Units per ml of rabbit serum (Ph. Eur)

** % protection in guinea pigs (Ph. Eur.)


Adjuvant:
Aluminium hydroxide (Al3+) 3,5 mg

Excipient:
Thiomersal (Preservative) 0,1 mg
Indications
For active immunisation of cattle, sheep, goats and rabbits to prevent mortality, clinical signs and infection caused by Cl. perfringens, Cl. septicum, Cl. novyi and Cl. chauvoei, and for passive immunisation of newborns of these species against the aforementioned antigens.
Route of administration
Subcutaneous.
Dosage
Dose:
  • Cattle: 5 ml (primary vaccination and revaccination).
  • Sheep and goats: 3 ml for primary vaccination and 2 ml for revaccination.
  • Rabbits: 1 ml (primary vaccination and revaccination).
Vaccination schedule:
  • Primary vaccination
    • Cattle, sheep and goats
      • Vaccinated mothers
        • 1 dose: 8-12 weeks.
        • 1 dose: At 6 weeks.
      • Unvaccinated mothers
        • 1 dose: 2 weeks.
        • 1 dose: At 6 weeks.
    • Rabbits
      • Breeding females
        • 1 dose: 15 days before mating
        • 1 dose: 15 days before parturition (every 3 litters)
      • For fattening vaccinated females
        • 1 dose: At weaning

  • Revaccination
    • Cattle, sheep and goats
      • 1 dose: Every 6 months
