Indications
  • Calves: Treatment of bacterial enteritis/pneumonia.
  • Lambs and kids: Treatment of bacterial enteritis.
  • Pigs: Treatment of bacterial enteritis, atrophic rhinitis, leptospirosis and shipping fever.
  • Poultry (broiler chickens and turkeys): Treatment of stress, chronic respiratory disease (CRD), unspecified enteritis, infectious sinusitis, infectious synovitis and avian cholera.
  • Rabbits: When clinical disease is detected on the farm, to reduce morbidity and clinical signs due to pasteurellosis caused by Pasteurella multocida.
Route of administration
Oral, in feed.
Dosage
  • Calves:
    • Bacterial enteritis: 110 g/tn of feed from the onset of symptoms until three days after their disappearance.
    • Pneumonia: 500 g/tn of feed for 7 to 14 days, depending on the severity of the disease.

  • Lambs and kids:
    • Bacterial enteritis: 110 g/tn of feed from the onset of symptoms until three days after their disappearance.

  • Pigs:
    • Bacterial enteritis:
      • Animals under 6 weeks of age: 220 g/tn of feed from the onset of symptoms until three days after their disappearance.
      • Animals over 6 weeks of age: 110 g/tn of feed from the onset of symptoms until three days after their disappearance.
    • Atrophic rhinitis: 55 g/tn of feed until symptoms subside.
    • Shipping fever: 110 g/tn of feed until symptoms subside. Leptospirosis: 550 g/tn for 2 weeks.

  • Poultry (broiler chickens and turkeys):
    • Stress: 110 g/tn of feed for 1 week.
    • CRD. Unspecified enteritis and infectious sinusitis: 110 g/tn of feed until symptoms subside.
    • Infectious synovitis: 220 g/tn of feed, up to 1–2 weeks after symptoms subside.
    • Avian cholera: 220 g/tn of feed, for two weeks. Make a preliminary dilution to incorporate into the feed in a proportion not less than 2 kg/tn.

  • Rabbits:
    • 70 mg of oxytetracycline/kg b.w./day, for 7 days.

Rabbits: Meat: 4 days.
Poultry Meat: 3 days.
