Composición
Amoxicillin trihydrate 800 mg/g
(Equivalent to 697 mg of base amoxicillin).
Indicaciones
- Poultry (broiler chickens, turkeys and ducks): Treatment of pasteurellosis and colibacillosis caused by amoxicillin-sensitive strains.
- Pigs: Treatment of infections caused by Streptococcus suis strains sensitive to amoxicillin.
Vía de administración
Oral, in drinking water.
Posología
- Broiler chickens: 19 mg of medication/kg b.w./day, for 5 days.
- Broiler ducks: 25 mg of medication/kg b.w./day, for 3 days.
- Broiler turkeys: 19–25 mg of medication/kg b.w./day, for 5 days.
- Pigs: 25 mg of medication/kg b.w./day, for 4 days.
The medicated water must be the only source of drinking water during the treatment period.
The water should be renewed every 24 hours.

- Broiler chickens: Meat: 1 day.
- Broiler ducks: Meat: 7 days.
- Broiler turkeys: Meat: 5 days.
- Pigs: Meat: 6 days.
