Composition
Each dose (approx. 35 μl) of reconstituted vaccine contains:

Active sustrongstance:
Live attenuated Brucella abortus, strain B-19 (smooth phase) 4-7 x 109 ufc*

*CFU: colony forming units


Excipients:
Patent Blue V (E-131) 0,01%
Indications
For the active immunisation of cattle against brucellosis caused byB. abortusorB. melitensis to prevent infection.

Onset of immunity: 4 weeks.
Route of administration
Ophthalmic.
Dosage
A single dose (1 drop) for female cattle older than 3 months. In areas of high prevalence, animals may be revaccinated 2 months after the initial dose.

For vaccination combined with a test and cull programme, use is restricted to young replacement females between 3 and 5 months of age. In areas of low prevalence, a single vaccine dose is sufficient. In areas of high prevalence, revaccination is advised 2 months after the first dose.
